About these OXY drug test strips
Our OXY test strips are single-panel urine dip tests that screen for OXY. Each strip is individually sealed and gives a visual result in about 5 minutes, with no lab equipment needed.
- Detects: OXY
- Cutoff level: 100 ng/mL
- Specimen: urine
- Results: read at 5 minutes
- Status: FDA cleared and CLIA waived
- Packs: box of 25 or case of 100 (minimum order 25)
How to use an OXY dip test strip
- Collect the urine sample in a clean, dry cup.
- Open the sealed pouch and hold the strip by the top end.
- Dip the strip into the urine with the arrows pointing down for 10 to 15 seconds. Do not go past the MAX line.
- Lay the strip flat on a clean, dry surface.
- Read the result at 5 minutes. Do not read results after 10 minutes.
Reading the result
- Negative: two lines, one at the control (C) region and one at the test (T) region. Even a faint T line counts as negative.
- Preliminary positive: only the C line appears.
- Invalid: no C line. Retest with a new strip.
Always follow the package insert. A preliminary positive should be confirmed by a laboratory test (such as GC/MS).
